About Me

I consider myself to be mostly self-taught. Since the age of 13 I've pored over books and practiced endlessly to improve my craft as much as I could, which I continue to do. I did study children's illustration, basic traditional animation and cartooning for four years at the Garaycochea School of Cartooning (Escuela de Dibujo Garaycochea) in my home country of Argentina. My work was published for the first time in the form of a one-panel daily cartoon on 1997, in the Argentinean newspaper El Diario De Escobar.

I'm experienced in both Adobe Photoshop CS and Adobe Illustrator CS. I also work with a good deal of traditional mediums such as pen-and-ink, art markers and colored pencils.

I've worked on a number of different freelance projects, from one-shot illustrations to website design, as well as the following children's books  of the "Buddy the Bear" series by Rebecca J. Brock:

  • Buddy The Bear Goes On Vacation
  • Buddy The Bear's Birthday Presents
  • Buddy The Bear Wonders What To Wear
  • Buddy The Bear Believes In Himself
  • Buddy The Bear's Golden Rule
  • Buddy The Bear's Healthy Habits

Sample pages of these books are available for viewing in my Digital Art gallery.

I also work part-time as assistant to a caricaturist. Occasionally, I draw at children's parties and exhibit canvas prints of my illustrations in various places.

I can provide references if you desire them, just drop me a line and I will be more than happy to email them to you.
